For this credenza, I really wanted to incorporate walnut burl. I veneered the burl into the sliding doors of the cabinet, trapped inside a frame and panel door. I was attempting to build a case inspired by the great James Krenov, incorporating small details that take time to discover, like the hand carved door pulls, or the hand shaped edge profile of the case.
